Suite for Solo Cello and Audience (After Charlotte)

“Suite for Solo Cello and Audience (After Charlotte)” sets up a series of experimental relationships between a body, an instrument, and an audience.

It was originally performed at the Grey Art Gallery in conjunction with the exhibition, A Feast of Astonishments: Charlotte Moorman and the Avant-Garde¬†1960s-1980s,¬†and takes direct and indirect inspiration from Moorman’s performances.

It has also been performed at NYU Skirball, The Ear Inn, 159 Sutton (Providence, RI), and Harvard University.
